With sadness, we share the passing of Mabel Groce of Tompkinsville, Kentucky. Mabel, born on November 2, 1933, passed away on September 22, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mabel Groce to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Estes Roach and Beulah Young Roach; her half-siblings, Fred York and Fairy Scott; and her sisters, Christine Dicks and Lorene Horton.
She is survived by: her husband Printis Groce of Tompkinsville; her son Stevie Mark Groce (Sue) of Greenville; and her brother Clyde Roach of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home (510 W 4th St, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Monroe County Memorial (529 Capp Harlan Rd, Tompkinsville, KY 42167).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mabel's memory may be made to Bethlehem Church or the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home.
