It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Emberton of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawrence and Dorcie Emberton (Burks); and his siblings, Sheldon Emberton and Sharon Eakle. He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy Joinville (Nick) of Tompkinsville, KY and Tylor Emberton-Lyle (Dennis); his grandson William Michael Joinville (Shae) of Glasgow, KY; his brother Gary Emberton (Connie) of Tompkinsville, KY.; and his close friend Gayle Harlin Mills of Owensboro, KY.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home (510 W 4th St, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike's memory may be made to Hosparus or Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, and these may be left at the funeral home.
