He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Turner (Wadley) and Cecil Turner; the mother of his children Rebecca Joanne Turner (Hammer); and his sister Kathy Emberton. He is survived by: his wife Vivienne "Viv" Turner of Tompkinsville, KY; his sons, Zachary Michael Turner (Jennifer) of Glasgow, KY, Jonathan Ryan Turner (Dawn) of Tompkinsville, KY and Stuart Tomlinson (Sharon) of Glasgow, KY; his grandchildren, Callie, Cade, Grant, Gabrielle Turner, Tom and Zoe Tomlinson; his great grandchild Viviana Tomlinson; and his siblings, Joyce Lawhorn of Bowling Green, KY, Cheryl Wadley of Tompkinsville, KY, Debbie Hawks of Tompkinsville, KY, Paul Turner of Tompkinsville, KY and William Turner of Campbellsville, KY..
