He was predeceased by: his parents, Hettie Wheat (Turner) and Willard Wheat; his brothers, Mark and Bobby Wheat; his grandson Trever Bohanan; and his daughter-in-law Vickie Wheat.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Bohanan (Troy) of Lafayette, TN, Cheyenne Wheat of Bowling Green, KY. and Tony Wheat (Kristie) of Lafayette, TN; his grandchildren, Jacob Wheat (Sara), Alyssa Lockhartt (MJ) and Demisa Manion (Austin); and his sister Nyoka Hestand of Tompkinsville, KY.. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Harlan's Crossroad Cemetery.
