He was predeceased by: his parents, Neva Wheat and Erie Jack Thomas; his grandchild Thomas Scott Gentry; and his siblings, Jimmy Thomas, Nadine Turner and June Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Nelda Thomas; his daughters, Trina Davis (Richard) of Hustonville, KY, Terri Williams (Mark) and Traci Gentry (Maxey) of Tompkinsville, KY; and his siblings, Ruth Stinson of Orlando, FL, Joyce Denham (Leon) of Louisville, KY and Ralph Thomas of Tompkinsville, KY.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Travis' memory may be made to Bethlehem Cemetery or Sid Yokley Cemetery.
