He was predeceased by: his mother Bertha Capps (Daniels); his wife Barbara Jean Dyer; his parent Tee Capps; and his brother Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Wanda (Darrell Cawthorn) of Tompkinsville, KY, Connie (Timmy Jackson) of Fountain Run, KY., Norman Capps of Tompkinsville, KY, Ricky Capps of Tompkinsville, KY, Larry (Revonda Capps) of Tompkinsville, KY, Lonnie (Merenda Capps) of Lafayette, TN, Thomas Capps of Smiths Grove, KY, Michael (Niko Capps) of Tompkinsville, KY and Kevin (Morgan Capps) of Whitleyville, TN; his grandchildren, T. J., Nikki, Mickie, Eric, Kelsey, Josh, Monica, Johnny, Dixie, Justin, Logan, Katlynn, Katie, Amanda, Landon, Waylon, Emily, Allie, Hunter, Preston, Peyton, Hayden, Sadie, Owen and Abagail; his children, Jackie Capps and Brenda Page; and his siblings, Bonnie Anderson, Everett, James of Jesse, J. B. and Allen. He is also survived by great-grandchildren & Many great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home (510 W 4th St, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
