He is survived by: his wife Annette Greathouse Layne; his children, Scottie Layne (Angie) of Richard, Layne Jr., Gabriel Layne and Beth Herslip (Ross); his brothers, James Edward Layne and Johnny Layne (Tracie); and his grandchildren, Allie (Dustin), Charlie, Bella, Brooklyn, Jaxson and Brantley.
