We announce the death of Betty L. Johnson of Union, Kentucky, who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 77. Betty will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her mother Sylvia Mae Sydnor; her brothers, Ronnie, Dannie, Jimmy and David Sydnor; and her daughter Sarah McCane.
She is survived by: her husband Billy T. Peed; her sons, Shane Johnson (Ahoo) and Tommy Peed (Shannon); her grandson Will Z. Peed; her siblings, JoAnn Milner (Gene), Linda Mildon (Steve Madden) and Larry Sydnor (Glenna); and her grandson Kaveh. She is also survived by family members and friends.
