She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hurst and Nellie Hurst; her siblings, Jimmy Hurst and Janet Coyle (Poodle); and her son Dennis Joseph Mathis, II.
She is survived by: her husband Denny Mathis; her sons, Brian McIntosh (Becky) and Steven McIntosh; and her sisters, Judy Petrey (Elbert) and Gayle Browning. She is also survived by 1 grandson; 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
