He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Kessen and Margaret Kessen (Wildemeyer); his brother Jack Lee Kessen; and his son-in-law Billy Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kessen (Linneman); his children, Diana Patrick, Denise Lahni (Pete), Dennis Kessen, Dale Pace (Laura) and David Pace (Angie); and his grandchildren, Janson Wade, Justin Wade, Austin Kessen, Catherine Kessen, Chris Renner, Michale Lahni, Justin Pace, Jacob Pace, Kelsey Pollak, Anne Clark and Abby Montague. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
