He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Cox; and his uncles, Bobby and Bill Chipman. He is survived by: his close friend Terri Cox; his mother Patricia Shelton (Sonny); his brothers, Steven Cox (Jamie) and David Shelton; his daughter Amber Lee (Tommy); his niece Maddie Cox; his nephew Stevie Cox; his grandchildren, Terry, Brenden and Aiden; his sister Tami; his brother-in-law Ed Stone; and his nieces and nephews, Cara Chitwood (Ethan), Ryan LeVan, Callie and Carson.
