He was predeceased by: his parents, Erby Erdman and JoAnn Erdman; his grandmother Elsie Erdman; his sister Bette Loke; and his pet Hope.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Erdman (Mark), Elisabeth Palmer (Mike) and Kim Boles (Jeff); his siblings, Erby Erdman, Myra Marksberry and Judy Fisher; his pet Elsie; his grandchildren, Danielle Dorning, Logan Behymer, Tanner Hill, Morgan Hill, Laura Porter and Tyler Williams; and his great grandchildren, Ava Dorning, Carter Dorning, Brooks Behymer, Harper Porter, Rowan Porter and Sailor Porter.
In lieu of flowers, Gary would have loved donations be made to the Boone County Animal Shelter.
