Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gerald Dee Pelfrey Sr. of Union, Kentucky, born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 81, on January 10, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kearney Pelfrey and Rose Pelfrey; and his siblings, Kearney Pelfrey, Jean Kelley, Roy Pelfrey and Wayne Pelfrey.

He is survived by: his wife Dee Pelfrey; his sons, Jerry Pelfrey Jr. (Char) and Terry Pelfrey (Regina); his grandchildren, Tiffani Puckett (Cal), Stephanie Boon (Aaron), Brittany James (Joe), Whitney Pelfrey (Terry Cole), T. J. Pelfrey (Alli), Felicia Pelfrey, Dawn Raney (Adam) and Chrissy Hopkins (Ryan); and his siblings, Bobby Pelfrey, Nita Hopkins and Porter Pelfrey (Judy). He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Grace Baptist Church; Memo: Tanzania Missions at 5595 Mason Road, Mason, OH 45040 in Jerry's honor.

“Goodness, sakes, yall... I didn't even know Jerry had been sick. I found out yesterday when listening to church services. My heart goes out to you & have been praying for you Dee, Jerry, Char, Terry Regina, and others. Jerry was a lovely person and Christian. So many found memories of him in the early years of FBT.
