He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Ison and Margaret Ison; and his brother-in-law David Rice. He is survived by: his wife Jan Ison; his daughters, Vicki Brown, Holly Ison and Amanda Ison; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Rhiannon Brown and Christy Brown; his brother James Ison; his sister-in-law Kathy Ison; his sisters, Mary Ison and Jean Rice; his brother-in-law Ben Mealey; and his son-in-law Jason Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (144 Buttermilk Pike, Lakeside Park, KY 41017). A burial was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Cemetery (2167 Dixie Hwy, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017).
