James Glatthaar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Glatthaar of Union, Kentucky, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Gail Glatthaar; and his siblings, Joan Stoner (Vince), Don Glatthaar and Tom Glatthaar. He is survived by: his wife Gelaine Glatthaar; his daughters, Sharon Zalac (Don), Laura Glatthaar, Lisa Glatthaar, Suzanne Glatthaar and Krista Glatthaar; his stepdaughter Kristin Lippert (Dennie Rowell); his grandchildren, Kevin, Kelsey, Austin, Bradley, Dominic, Evan, Patrick, Julianna, Gabriel, Zachary, Griffin and Grady; and his sister Janice Glatthaar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stith Funeral Home (7500 U. S. Hwy 42, Florence, KY 41042). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Timothy Catholic Church (10272 US-42, Union, KY 41091).
