It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hoyt Weiss of Union, Kentucky, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on May 27, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Weiss and Ora Mae Weiss; and his siblings, William, Robert Weiss and Dorothy Clayton (Bud).
He is survived by: his wife Sally Pettit Weiss; his children, Jim Weiss (Amy), Jon Weiss (Tina), Teresa Hassara (Michael), Joe Weiss and Diane Werner (Tony); and his sister Linda Warder (David). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
