She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Frances and Orin Thomas Edwards; her son Richard Lee Smith; and her sister Connie Mae Edwards. She is survived by: her children, William (Bill) and Marianne Smith Edge (John) of Owensboro; her grandson Ryan E. Smith (Jill); and her great grandchildren, Tanner of Lexington and Emerson Smith (Emmy) of Lexington.
