He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen W. Garvin (Jean Hale) and Ruth Garvin; and his brothers, Scott and Nicholas Hale. He is survived by: his stepmother Nora Hale; his stepsister Teresa Moffitt; his sister-in-law Kelly Hale; his stepsiblings, David Moffitt and Melinda Moffitt; his nephews, Brandon Moffitt, Ryan Moffitt and Matt Moffitt; his niece Suzanne Temesvari; and his cousin Glenn Sutherland. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
