He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Murphy and Bert Bowlin Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Louise Bowlin Murphy; his children, Ronnie Murphy (Sandra) of Richmond, KY, Robert Murphy (Linda) of Union City, KY, Becky Turpin (Charles) of Union City, KY and Regena Adams (Stuart) of Union City, KY; his siblings, William Ray Murphy, Alene Carmine, Dora Ellen Gamon and Harriet Allen; and his grandchildren, Angela Pearson, Robbie Murphy, Mark Murphy, Shanda Willoughby, Josh Turpin and Sawyer Adams. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren.
