He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cooper and Eileen Cooper; his daughter Linda Sue Cooper; and his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Cooper and Carol Morris.

He is survived by: his wife Laveata Cooper; his children, Lana Bridget-Cooper (Margie), Ollie Edward Cooper Jr. (Tina), Anthony Scott Cooper (Jenny) and Jay Thomas Cooper (Amber); his stepchildren, Kimberly Brison (Bill), Karen Boyd and Darrell Mitchell; and his grandchildren, Andrew Scott Cameron, Steven "Stevie" Andrew Cameron, Timothy James Estep, Johnathan Scott Estep, Brandon Edward Cooper, Brittany Nicole Cooper, Kristina Marae Morrison, Anthony Scott Cooper Jr., Magen Marie Cooper, Haley Nicole Cooper, Mylah Adira Cooper, Nikia Candace Granger, Jeffrey Isaiah Schraer, Lydia Marie Schraer, Atlas Cole and Zachariah Emilio Cole. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, and 6 step great grandchildren.
