He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Garnet Sutherland and Margaret Vernon Sutherland; and his wife Janet Sutherland. He is survived by: his children, Glenn A. Sutherland, Michael Dale Sutherland (Lucia), Linda L. Sutherland Marksberry (James) and Michele E. Sutherland Panagiotopoulos (Spyridon); his grandchildren, Christine L. Stolzman (Justin Michael), Patrick L. Marksberry, Nathan Sutherland, Eleni S. Schwettmann (John), James Scott Marksberry, Blake Cody Marksberry and Joshua Coe Marksberry; his great grandchildren, Lily Anna Stolzman, Luke M. Stolzman, Demetri Schwettmann and Alec Schwettmann; and his sister Nora E. Hale. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Church of Christ - Burlington Campus (6080 Camp Ernst Rd, Burlington, KY 41005). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (3227 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018).
