He is survived by: his wife Erin Augur; his children, Greyson Augur and Lily Augur; his parents, Michael Augur and Dashiel Augur; his siblings, Heather Swafford (Tim) and Michael Augur (Malinda); his siblings-in-law, Brizia Palmer and Jacob Shepherd (Christina); his mother-in-law Anne Shepherd; and his pets, Lola and Bowie. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home (8461 Dixie Hwy, Florence, KY 41042). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a fund established in honor of Shane to support his children's future educational expenses. Checks can be made directly to the family and placed inside the memorial donation box at the funeral home.
