He was predeceased by: his father Bernard Mersch; and his daughter Becky Mersch. He is survived by: his wife Jean Hellmann Mersch; and his children, Bill Mersch (Sandra), Tom Mersch, Dan Mersch, Jeff Mersch, Gretchen Thompson (Mark), Heidi Gardner (Bill) and Amy Martin (Don). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
