He is survived by: his children, Joseph Embree (Valerie) of Huntington and Tiffany Embree of Louisville, Kentucky; his mother Ruby Alfreda Embree of Upton, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Josiah and Miranda; and his siblings, Glen M. Embree, Leslie Thomas Embry, Merry Stewart (Willis) and Helen F. Lane.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
