We announce the death of Darrell Sprowles of Upton, Kentucky, who passed away on June 20, 2026, at the age of 67. Darrell will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garland Sprowles and Irma Jean Edlin Sprowles; and his sister Barbara Farkas. He is survived by: his wife Dana Stearman Sprowles; his daughter Tara Dixon (John) of Hodgenville; his grandson Heath Thompson; his great grandchild Oakley Thompson; and his close friend Robert Perkins.
