We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2024, at the age of 67, Dorethea Johnston of Upton, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorethea Johnston to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Elizabeth Drake and Henry McAdams; and her grandson Richard Allen Quire. She is survived by : her daughters, Frances Irene Culver (Raymond) of Louisville, Elizabeth Mae Puckett (Mark) of Upton, KY and Samantha Hayes (Danny) of Elizabethtown; and her brother Tommy Parish (Clema) of Loretto. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Manakee Funeral Home (2098 Leitchfield Rd, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
