He is survived by : his wife Kathy LeRoy Tharp; his daughters, Leigha (Kim), Price (Chris), Shellie Nalley (Adam) and Beth Hardesty (Neal); his sister Tammy Newton (Stevie); his nieces, Miranda, Rebecca and Morgan Newton; his nephew Tyler Newton; and his close friend Kevin McCullum. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
