Byron L. King Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Byron L. King of Utica, Kentucky, who passed away on May 12, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Zybra D. King and Mary Johnnie King; his brothers, David King and Bill King; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Risinger, Herman Jolly, George Hagan and Mary Jolly.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jo King; his sons, Byron Scott King (Mary) and Joseph D. King; his sister Ellen Risinger; his sisters-in-law, Judy Norris (Louis) and Sharon Hagan; and his grandchildren, Justin King (Hailey), Mikayla Roberts (Hayden), Kelsey Stevens (Ben), Breanna Heffner (Michael), Daniel King, Carissa O'Neal (Carver) and Janessa King. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beulah Cemetery (320 Beulah Church Rd, Hartford, KY 42347). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
