He is survived by: his wife Donnita Patton Adkins; his children, Richard Adkins (Cristal) and Donna Adkins Chapman (Tim); his grandchildren, Emily Roidl (Tom) of Germany, Kyle Chapman (Chelsea) of Evansville, Madison Chapman of Owensboro and Michael Chapman of Evansville; his great grandchild Waylon Walker Timothy Chapman; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Milleenah Tenbarge and Isaiah Holland; his nieces, Amanda Adkins of Owensboro and Cyndi Cook of Philpot; his sister-in-law Janice Patton Marksberry (Alton) of Spice Knob; his nephews, James Marksberry (Kaylen) and Jared Marksberry; and his cousin Roy Adkins.
