He is survived by: his wife Becky Howard; his children, Linette Johnson, Michelle Sparks, Zach Bertram and Maggie Hawes; his grandchildren, Keeley, TJ, Cooper Johnson, Ayden, Hanna Sparks, Silas, Eve, Eliya Bertram, Carlee, Eliza and Andie Hawes; his brothers, Roger Howard and Ron Howard; and his pets, Burl and Baxter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
