With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna G. Applegate of Vanceburg, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alan G. Roe and Jane Gormely Roe; and her siblings, Patty Roe, John Roe of Morehead, Kentucky., Alan Roe and Paul Roe.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Applegate of Vanceburg, Kentucky.; her daughter Michelle Roe (Ricky Monroe) of South Portsmouth, Kentucky.; her grandsons, Christopher Alan Caldwell II and Timothy Andrew Caldwell (Bella); her great grandchild Theodore Caldwell; her siblings-in-law, Mary Alice Clark, Rosemary Applegate, Pat Mensch, Darrell Applegate (Bud), Donald Thoroughman and Nellie Bloomfield; her niece Cindy Butler (Steve); and her stepmother Norma Roe.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gaydos Funeral Home (159 2nd St, Vanceburg, KY 41179). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
