He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Arlend and Mary Elizabeth Rister Bertram; and his siblings, Wesley Lee Bertram, Bonnie Lou Halliman and Lollie Mae Layne.
He is survived by: his children, Dakota Bentley, Arlen Bertram, Trampas "Gabe" Bertram, Ashley Royster, Flora Bertram, Amber Rice and Keisha Hesler; and his brothers, Terry Ray Bertram and Sammy Daniel Bertram. He is also survived by ten grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
