She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Feltner and Garnett Feltner. She is survived by: her husband Carl Whalen Jr.; and her children, Denver Sumner (Monica) of Danville, Kyle Whalen (Cari) of Lexington, Kari Boone (Danny) of Versailles and Stefani Davis (James) of Mt. Washington. She is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home (161 Broadway St, Versailles, KY 40383).
