We announce the death of David E Huffman of Versailles, Kentucky, who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 69. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Huffman and Kathleen G. Huffman; his grandparents, Roberta, Frank Grady, Ed and Edna Huffman; and his brother Doug Huffman.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Huffman; his sons, Derek Huffman (Jeana) of Versailles and Daniel of Indiana; his grandchildren, Savanna and Dawson; his siblings, Karen Hogsten (Tony) of Ashland and Donald Huffman (late Patricia) of Lexington; his siblings-in-law, Becky Horine (late Bert) of Nicholasville and Bill Horine (Cathy) of Nicholasville; and his aunt Virginia G. Carter (David) of Lexington. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home (161 Broadway St, Versailles, KY 40383).
In lieu of flowers, the Huffman family requests that donations be made in David's honor to the Woodford County Humane Society.
