It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Wesley McDaniel (Versailles, Kentucky), who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Don has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben McDaniel and Virgie Simpson McDaniel; and his siblings, Linda Burton and Jimmy McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Craig; his children, Michelle Haden and Kevin McDaniel; and his sister Peggy Winchester. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home (161 Broadway St, Versailles, KY 40383). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
