He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jewell "Chick" Withers and Louise Katherine Withers (Hatterick); his wife Mary D Withers (Shingleton); his son Terry Withers; his son-in-law John "Bear" Coyle; and his stepmother Sarah Withers.
He is survived by: his sisters, Gayle Clayton (Tommy) and Patti Edwards (Mac); his children, Michael Withers, David Withers, Mary Don Coyle (late John) and Charles Withers (Becky); his grandchildren, Kelly Payne (Matt), Andrew Coyle (Kristin), Roy Coyle (Katherine), Celeste Keeling (Daniel), Matthew Coyle (Jordan) and John Paul Coyle; and his great grandchildren, Mattison, Kaden, Charlotte, Ella, Sloane, Mallory, Violet, Emory, Ike, Taylor Don, John Elliott and Jack.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Troy Presbyterian Church (11021 Troy Pike, Versailles, KY 40383). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
