With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jesse Owen Ellis (Versailles, Kentucky), born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away on March 4, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Morrison Ellis, Sr. and Catharine Owen Ellis; his significant other George John Fleischmann, Jr.; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Daniel Ellis and Victoria Ann Myers.
He is survived by: his brothers, Gilbert Morrison Ellis, Jr. and Hays Hower Ellis; and his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Ellis, Deica Brown (Michael), Mollie Thomas (Joseph), Gilby Ellis (Allison), Russell Ellis, Jason Kingsolver (Christin) and Jacob Ellis (Heather). He is also survived by his family, close friends, and neighbors.
