She was predeceased by : her parents, Marion Stratton and Francis Soard Stratton; her husband Dennis Adams; her son David Wayne Carpenter; her siblings, Shelby Jean Tipton and John Stratton; her grandsons, Jeremiah Blake Carpenter and Steven Wayne Carpenter; and her great grandchild Oliver Kain Carpenter.

She is survived by : her children, Tammy Hulette and Christopher Carpenter; her siblings, Mary Jane Bain, Charles Stratton and Marion Lewis; her grandchildren, Celeste Marie Carpenter and Justin Chance Hulette; and her great grandchildren, Rilynn Hulette, Piper Hulette and Parker Carpenter.
