She is survived by: her parents, Jeff Scates and Theresa Scates; her grandmother Jane Scates; her siblings, David Scates (Liz), Robert Scates (Brooke) and Nicole Nickels (John); and her nieces and nephews, Mila and Deaton Nickels. She is also survived by her son and parents.
