He was predeceased by : his parents, Ben Downey and Geneva English Downey; his sons, David Downey and Glenn Downey; and his siblings, Sam Downey and Patsy Downey Barnes.
He is survived by : his wife Linda Neal Downey; and his grandson Chris Downey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
