Robert L. Rice III Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. Rice III (Versailles, Kentucky), who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rice, Jr. and Mary Catherine Rice; his wife Jacqueline Sue; his son Robin Rice; and his brothers, David and Michael Rice.
He is survived by: his brother Ted Rice; and his children, Mary Stumph (Dennis), Elizabeth (Terry), Mark Rice (Karen), Jonadrian (Phyllis), Catherine Meyers (Reid), James Rice and Susanne Calvert (Mike). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Leo Catholic Church (295 Huntertown Rd, Versailles, KY 40383). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Francis Cemetery (4088 Frankfort Pike, Georgetown, KY 40324).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
