He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ritchey and Blanche Dunn Ritchey; and his siblings, Robert Earl Ritchey, Phyllis Ann Kirkland, David Ritchey and Donnie Wayne Ritchey.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Ritchey (Becky), Tamara Webb, Marty Ritchey (Marta), Dale Ragland (Tina) and Rodney Ragland (Jill); and his grandchildren, Shai, Hannah, Adam, Chanler, Allison, Nash, Jamie, Jason, Josh, Sara, Bryan and Mikey. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
