He was predeceased by : his parents, Horace Douglas and Gladys Lear Burton; his wife Barbara Burton; his son Denny Burton; and his brothers, Marion Burton, William Burton and Jerry Burton.
He is survived by : his children, Tara Burton, Laura Lacy, William Burton and Thomas Burton; his sister Barbara Sutt; and his grandchildren, Cody Simpson, Cameron Burton, Christian Burton, Olivia Lacy, Malcom Carpenter and Brittany Ross.
