He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane Cartwright and Harold Eugene Petterson, Sr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Lynn Parker (Dan), Paula Sue Horn (Letcher), Harold E. Peterson (late Patsy), Edwin M. Peterson (Judy) and Shelby Kilkelly (Logan); his siblings' children, Parker Lynn, Logan Dale Kilkelly, Jr. and Lauren Zirnheld; his niece Eva Peterson; his great-niece Madeline; his great-nephew Dwight Greer; his nephew Matthew Milligan; and also, Nyia Lynne Gibbs and Ashley Milligan.
