He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Frank and Bessie Marinda Sears; and his sister Wanda Sears. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sears; his stepchildren, Elizabeth Chatterton (David), Stephanie Cooper (Nathan) and Thomas William Chapman (Shannon); his grandchildren, Emerson, Elliot Sears, Bryanna Gordin (Daniel), Christopher Sanders, Weston, Stephen Chatterton, Dylan Hartley, Addison, Alivia Cooper and Theodore Chapman; his sister Joyce Linnie (Sears); and his niece Roxanna Johnson (John).
