He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Oscar Ritchie Sr. and Janie Hudson; sons: James Verlin "Tiny" (Melissa) Ritchie and Stephen (Erica) Ritchie; grandchildren: Randall Chase Ritchie, Gregory Kyle Ritchie, James Michael Ritchie, Brandon Cole Ritchie, and Allie Ritchie; great grandchild: Jaxon; brother: Barry (Donna) Ritchie; sister: Ruth Jean (Andy) Fugate; ex wives: Joyce and Kathy; brothers and sisters (preceded in death): Oscar Ritchie, Jr., Verlin Ritchie, Kermit Ritchie, Raymond Ritchie, Jolene Sumner, Trigger Gerken, Catherine Slone, Wanda Von Brewer, and Wanda Sue Roberts; and a host of nieces and nephews; other: Randy Combs.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel (619 Hindman Bypass, Hindman, KY 41822). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
