It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin A. Mertes of Villa Hills, Kentucky, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Mertes and Louise Mertes (Ziegler). He is survived by : his siblings, Ellen Fussinger (Greg), Barbara Hehman (Mark) and Lindsey Mertes (Sandy); and his nieces and nephews, Kyle Mertes (Rachel), Chad Fussinger (Brenna Henderson), Lauren Tawfik (Marc), David Hehman (Natalie) and Michael Hehman. He is also survived by six great nieces and great nephews; and many friends.
