He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Fay Simmons; his granddaughter Abby West; and his sister Betty Goins. He is survived by: his children, Steven Paul Simmons, Darrell Franklin Simmons (Kelly) and Christina Renee Pantoja (Daniel); his grandchildren, Jacob Simmons, Nicholas Simmons, Rachel Simmons, Alex Simmons, Zachary Simmons, Kaitlyn Simmons and James West; his great grandchild Elias Simmons; and his brothers, Clyde Simmons and Earnest Simmons. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
