He was predeceased by: his parents, Coye Lowther and Pearl Lowther; and his siblings, Kathy Lowther and Jerry Lowther. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Lowther of Vine Grove, KY; his sons, Philip Lowther (Carol Hannahs) of Lexington, KY, Daniel Lowther (Rachel) of Smithfield, VA and Jason Lowther (Melody) of Elizabethtown, KY; his grandchildren, Beau, Melanie, Stephen, Casey, Josh, Kyle, Ryan and Grace; his great grandchildren, Jude, Winnie, Jacob and Laci; and his brother Kenneth Lowther. He is also survived by extended family & friends.
