She was predeceased by: her daughter Evelyn "Eva" Phillips; her parents, George Pendleton and Amanda "Alice" Pendleton; and her siblings, George, Joe, Frank, Calvin, Tommy Pendleton, Lois Hatcher, Patricia Smith, Jane Burns and Beverly Fisher.
She is survived by: her husband Ellis Smith; her daughters, Gail Douglas (Donnie) of Shepherdsville, Michelle Vessels (John) of Ekron and Kim Creek (Kelley) of Shepherdsville; her son-in-law Carl Phillips, Sr.; her brother Emmitt Pendleton of Louisville; and her grandchildren, Jimmy Raisor, Johnny Douglas (Christina), Danny Raisor (Ashley), Billy Keltner, Megan Richardson (Shawn), Kristina Raisor (Ashley), Julia Paige Parsons, Nikki Raisor (Heidi), Carl Phillips, Jr. (Katie), Catherine Phillips, Austin Raisor, Cody Raisor, Kassidy Raisor, Ethan Vessels and Caley Vessels. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.
